Mr. Swansine was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He served in the U.S. Navy, was a WWII Veteran and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Vivian T. Swansine and grandson, Jason Bays.
Survivors include four daughters, Charlotte Rodgers, Janet Pickens, Toni Bays, Ann Ellis, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Rosary at 12:30 p.m. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Interment is at Southern Memorial Park.
