They lived in Lubbock & moved to Fort Worth in 1970 where he worked for Hamilton Farm as a welder until 1989 when they moved to Blossom. He was a member of Paris Masonic Lodge No. 27, AF and AM.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Rickey Dennington of Memphis, TN; a daughter, Laquita Forbeck of Evan, OH; 4 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Henry Smith of Fort Worth & Leroy Smith of Bartlesville, OK; 2 sisters, Darlene Pool of Paris & Velma Pool of Blossom.
