Miami, Okla. Mrs Myrtle E. Morton ,1917 A street, Northeast, died at 8:50 o'clock Saturday morning in Miami Baptist hospital where she had been a patient two weeks.
Mrs. Morton had been a resident of the Miami and Picher area for the past 42 years and a member of the First Baptist church in Picher.
Survivors include her husband , Lonnie Morton; a son Gerald Heltzel, Redding, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Faynell Pickett, Quapaw, Okla. and Mrs Margaret Collier, Farmington, N.M.;a brother James Endicott, Tulsa, Ok.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Spencer, Joplin, Mo.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the First Baptist Church in Picher with Rev.J. Clifton Sprouls and the Rev. Elmer Orr officiating. Burial will be in the Baxter Springs, Kan., cemetery under the direction of mthe Paul Thomas Funeral home of Picher.
Pallbearers will be J.B. Martin, Howard Martin, Guymon Martin, Homer Rigg, Wayne Cole and Elmer Gene Cash.
