Mrs. Billie Tompkins Williams, 76, wife of Clayton E. Williams, dean emeritus of the Washington and Lee University law school, died Friday.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Samuel C. Williams, of Brookland, Md., two sisters, Mrs. M.M. Long, of St. Paul and Mrs. Eugene L. Palmer, of Madison Heights, and two brothers, Richard Tompkins, of Flushing, N.Y., and Sidney Tompkins, of Silver Spring, Md.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Massanutten Cemetery, Woodstock.
