Born June 3rd, 1989 in Tulsa , OK to Dan and Teresa (Baker) Dexter, Josh was reared and educated first in Tennessee and then Claremore starting with the 3rd grade. Following graduation from high school Josh continued his education at RSU. You might say that football was always first on Josh's mind. He started playing when he was in the first grade. If he wasn't playing he was anticipating the NFL draft or organizing his fantasy football leagues. Life seemed to revolve around football, he made the comment that when he got married he wanted 11 boys so he could have a team but they couldn't be born during football season. Josh was full of life, always the jokester of the crowd. He made friends easily, especially with other football fans. Josh worked at the Claremore Recreation center where he enjoyed teaching kids how to swim. He also worked at Drug Warehouse for a time, and most recently was employed at Pharmcare of Tulsa. Josh's passing leaves a huge space in the hearts of those who loved him. Family members he leaves behind includes his parents, Dan and Teresa of Inola; his brother John also of Inola; fiancée Bethany Ogdon of Claremore; his maternal grandmother Terri Baker of Claremore; maternal grandfather Thomas Baker and wife Sheila of Tulsa; paternal grandparents Pat and Paul Dexter of Claremore; aunts and uncles Tracy and Jeff Radley, Michelle and Rick Robinette all of Claremore; Lynn and Steve Hipp of Foyil and many cousins. Josh was preceded in death by his brother, Jacob Dexter.
