She was born July 4, 1909 in Sioux City, Iowa.
She was a long time member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Elgin.
Survivors include a son, David (Hope) of Aurora; four sisters, Florence Hanson and Muriel Phingsten both of St. Charles, Helen Thurnau of Washington and Evelyn Ewing of California; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald W. in 1968; a son, Richard L. Yunker; and a sister, Esther Peaslee.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Stout-Madison Funeral Home, 252 So. State St. with Reverend Thomas O'Connor officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until time of services at 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
