Michael Joseph Henderson, 25, of Hubert died Friday March 2,2007 at his residence.
Michael was a devoted firefighter for the Camp Lejeune Fire Department as well as the West Carteret Fire Department. In addition he was specially trained in search, dive and rescue for Camp Lejeune. He is a former marine for the United States Marine Corps and during his time served he was with the crash, fire and rescue.
Michael was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend to everyone he met on his journey.
He was devoted to serving and saving people in need.
His voice brought a sense of calmness and his smile made you fall in love with him. He will be missed and remembered always. He is always in our hearts, and We can not wait until we see you again. We love you.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 13 at 2:00 pm at Camp Lejeune Base Chapel.
He is survived by his wife Crystal Henderson; his father John P. Henderson of Whitmore Lake, Mich; mother, Catherine L. Martin and husband Todd of Commerce, Michigan; brother,
Scott Martin of Commerce, Mich. and his sister Christy
Henderson of Commerce, Michigan.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday at Johnson
