His siblings were five brothers, Samuel Kenner Pound, Richard Franklin Pound, twins Leander Pound and Leroy Pound, and Isaac Van Pound. And six Sisters, Nancy Caroline Pound, Harriett Elizabeth Pound Gowers Fox, Sarah Katherine "Kate" Pound Cottrell, Frances "Frankie" Lucinda Pound Julian, Josephine "Josie"

He was a resident of Fort Smith for 50 years, was a retired furniture worker and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church at Arkoma, Okla. Survivors are his
wife, Millie Cottrell Pound; five daughters, Daisy Pound Ludington and Juanita Pound Wilson both of Fort Smith, Soleita Pound Holcomb of Muldrow, Okla, Inez Pound Rogers of Jenny Lind, Ar and Elizabeth Pound Sutton of Meeker, Okla; Two son, Reeves Pound of Oklahoma City, Okla and George Pound of Auburn California; two sisters, Sarah kathernine "Kate" Pound Cottrell of Dyer, Ar and Frances
"Frankie" Lucinda Pound Julian of Altus Okla; thrity-seven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Burial was in the Forest Park Cemetery, Fort Smith, Ark.
