Lucy Clementine Mayhall Bell, 89, of Waco, Texas, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010, at St. Catherines Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, with the Rev. Randall Everett officiating. Burial will be in Eureka. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, May 12, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, F. R. (Reyn) Bell; son, James Floyd Bell; her parents, H.J. (Lonnie) and Lola Pearl Mayhall; stepmother, Hattie Spraggins Mayhall; sisters, Dovie Waggoner, Doyle Fuller; brothers, Lee Mayhall, G.B. Mayhall, James Myres (J.M.) Mayhall; step sisters, Frances Bell, Helen Qualls, Faye Hall and Florence Kendrick; nieces, Gail Martinez, Betty Bracken; nephews, Wayne Mayhall, Bobby Mayhall.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Stieg and friend Jerry Herring, of Waco; daughter-in-law, Joyce Bell, of Eureka; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; stepbrother, Charles (Jr) Spraggins, of Waco; and many nieces and nephews.
