CHARLES PIPER
On Sunday, September 14, Charles Edward Piper. 1721 W. 106th st., who has been a resident of Washington Heights for the past 40 years, died suddenly from a heart attack. Mr. Piper was born in Danville, I11., in 1870, and came to Southtown when he was twenty years old. He has worked at the trade of steamfitting ever since his residence in Chicago. Services were held at his late residence last Wednesday and interment was at Mount Greenwood cemetery. Mr. Piper is survived by a son, Charles Edward Piper. Jr., a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Kelly of Chicago, and by his mother. Mrs. Charles Piper of Danville, I11.
