He was a retired civil service employee at Robins Air Force Base, an Army veteran of World War II and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Kohr; three daughters, Edna Weaver of Hummelstown, Pa., Sally Bechtel of Warner Robins and Rose Crum of Perry; two brothes, Jay of Warner Robins and Edward of Harrisburg; four sisters, Lillian Miller of Pittsburgh, Grace Moore of Cincinnati, Mary Dane of Hanover, Pa., and Katherine MIller of Harrisburg; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held recently in Christopher-Smith Funeral Home. Burial was in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
