Altman, a retired carpenter and cabinetmaker, died Sunday at Baptist Medical Center after a sudden illness.
He was born in Waurika and came to Oklahoma City in 1919. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Buna; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Chase, Aplos, Calif.; a son, Charles, Norman; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Woods, Orient, Iowa, and Mrs. Dorothy Watts, Kansas City, Mo.; six half-brothers of Joplin, Mo.; five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
