Mr. King was born June 18, 1924, in Johnson County, a son of the late Tollie and Eunice Blevins King.
He was a retired miner.
Surviving are his wife,Mildred Fern King; two sons, Charles King of West Hills, Calif., and Everett Harold King of Lima; two sisters,Betty Lou Kimbler and Myrtle Faye Dyer, both of Carey, Ohio; a brother, Cline King of Carey; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral was at 1 p.m. today at Old Union United Baptist Church in Staffordsville by John R. Pelphrey, John Blanton and Charles Price.
Burial was in Lakeview Memorial Cemetery in Staffordsville.Preston Funeral Home in Paintsville was in charge of arrangements
