Born Oct. 8, 1933, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late Morris and Dora Hall Arms.
He was a field worker for Dowell Chemical.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen I. Arms.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Trimble of Huntington and Toni Jean Fraley of Inez; a brother, Lundy Arms of Paintsville; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, April 11, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home,Paintsville, with Revs. Toby Wheeler and Chuck Slone officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
