E.P. Searle operated a drug store in Summitville, Ind. for a number of years, after which he moved to Anderson and engaged in various enterprises. He was identified for sometime with the Anderson Art Glass Company, later with the Bulletin Printing Company and finally established the Anderson Computing Cheese Company.

Son of Herman L Searle and Barbara Shermerhorn. Married Clara Elizabeth Forkner May 14, 1885 Anderson, Indiana, father of:
