Funeral services for Mrs Frances Murtis Gardner 44. wife of Frank Gardner recently of East Antwerp, were held Monday afternoon. Mar 6. at 2.30 p.m. forn the Antwerp Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. Lester W. Wakeman. pastor officiating.

Burial was made in Hillside cemetery. Antwerp. She died Friday evening at her home in Evans Mills with a heart ailment.

Mrs Gardner was born at East Antwerp June 3,1895 daughter of Mrs. Lillian Burtis and the late George L. Burtis.

She married in 1915. She had resided in that vicinity until last fall when she moved to Evans Mills, where Mr Gardner entered the employee of the Borden Milk Company.

The surviving relatives are her mother, husband, four daughters, the

2. Lillian Gardner. Gouverneur and the

3. Misses Dorothea and

4. Bertha Gardner Evans Mills;

Frank C. Gardner married Frances M. Burtis (b. abt 1893), daughter of George L. and Lillian M. (?) Burtis of Rockwell Creek Road, Antwerp Twp, Jefferson Co.t and had the following children:

c. Ruth M. Gardner: Born about 1921.

d. Lillian M. Gardner: Born about 1922.

e. Arthur E. Gardner: Born about 1924.

Perhaps married Margaret May on 19 October 1947.

g. Dorothy M. Gardner: Born about 1928.

h. Bertha M. Gardner: Born about 1929/30.
