Laurel never made national headlines in his long life, but he was well known by all who knew him to be a man of his word and an upstanding citizen. His main goal in life was to instill these same values in his children. He is sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. He was married for 65 years to Laura Greene Dickinson, had eleven children, 32 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and three great, great grandchildren.
