Death came to Mrs Nelson Leach at her home on the Verry farms north of Atlanta Saturday night after a lingering illness of tuberculosis.

Cecil Marie Houghtling was born in Atlanta, August 25, 1892 and her entire life was spent in this vicinity. She is survived by her husband Nelson Leach, and the following children: Josephine, Donald, Olive, Marie, Harold, Evelyn and Mabel Louise; also by her parents Mr & Mrs Horace Houghtling, one brother, Ernest Houghtling and the following half-brothers and half-sisters: Mrs Mabel Smith of Streator, Claude Botkin of Pontiac, Oliver Botkin of Clinton, and Jesse Botkin of Atlanta. Mrs Leach was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the family home. Rev Charles Williams officiating. Mrs C H Shotwell and Mrs J A Applegate sand several hymns. The pallbearers were Claude, Oliver and Jesse Botkin, Ernest Houghtling, Clarence and Doe Leach, brothers and brother-in-laws of the deceased. Internment was in Atlanta cemetery.
