Whitesboro-Raymond Martin, 79, of Whitesboro, died Monday, March 28, 1994, in a Sherman hospital.
He was born August 25, 1914, in Little Elm to Paul Martin and Amanda Selby Martin. He married Edna Bynum March 12, 1949, in Dallas.
Mr. Martin served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the Little Elm Church of Christ.
Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Little Elm Church of Christ with Kenneth Beard officiating. Burial will be in Little Elm Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Edna, of Whitesboro; son, Raymond Dale Martin of Whitesboro; two daughters, Glenda Holland and Linda Wheeler, both of Whitesboro; five grand children and three great grandchildren.
Pall bearers will be Carl and Ralph Reed, Seb Wilson, Johnny Justus, Jim Pearson, and Jerry Thurman.
The family will be at Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne from 7 to 8 tonight for visitation.
