Gann, Peddy Ford, 72, of Irving died Wednesday, May 17, 1995 at his residence. He was born September 7, 1922 in Ponder, Texas to Mood and Mecca Gann. Married Virginia Lois Moon September 6, 1941 in Krum, Texas, graduated from Ponder High School, member of the Ponder Methodist Church, Member of Irving Elks Lodge #2334. Retired from LTV after 35 years of employment in 1987. He was a farmer in Ponder before moving to Irving. Survivors include his wife, Virginia to whom he was married for 53 years; two sons and daughters-in-law, Don W. and Peggy Gann of Sanger, Barry L. and Amy Gann of Irving; two brothers, Houston D. Gann of Gatesville, Texas and Newton Gann of Seattle, Washington; three grandchildren, Jeff and Lois Gann of Sanger, Victor Gann of Sanger, Ross Gann of Irving; three great grandchildren, Bobby, Melody and Peggy Gann of Sanger. Funeral services will be Friday, May 19, 1995 at 3 pm in DeBerry Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Rocky Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery in Krum, Texas Visitation will be Thursday night, 7-8pm. Pallbearers will be Steve, Gary, Daryl Stanley, Mood and Johnny Gann, and Ray Pennington.
