Wichita, Kansas-Martha "Happy" Gann, 72, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Ponder, died Saturday, September 6, 1997, in Wichita, Kansas.
She was born October 19, 1924, in Brandon to C. P. "Charlie" and Glenda Moon Owens. She married George Gibson Gann September 7, 1941, in Marietta, Oklahoma. He died in 1988.
Mrs. Gann was a retired grocery store and service station owner. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include daughters, Janice Cook of Pilot Point, Nancy Rager of Wichita, Kansas and Patsy Horta of Brasilia, Brazil; brother Robert W. Owens of Rhome; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Service will be 2 pm Wednesday, September 10, 1997, in Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz & Son Funeral Chapel in Denton with Chester Cullum officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery in Krum.
The family will be a the funeral home from 6 to 7:30 pm Tuesday for visitation.
Memorials may be made to Love in the Name of Christ, in care of Westview Baptist Church, 1325 S. Meredian, Wichita, Kansas 67213.
