*Mary McGuire Born 1833 Died 1894 (my great grandmother) was the daughter of a Sea Captain. I don't know his first name, all I know is Captain McGuire. His wife died leaving one daughter Mary. Her father Captain McGuire took Mary & a governess on a trip around the world, which in those days took 3 years. They left from Baltimore when she was 9 years old and returned when she was 12.
Later Captain McGuire ship sunk and he went down with the ship. Great Grandma Mary married a Captain Smith, they had one daughter Margie. Captain Smith Ship was sunk and he also went down with his ship.
Quite a few years later Great Grandma Mary married Great Grandpa James Price.
I don't know who Margie married or if she married. I only heard my Grandmother mentioned her one time and she always called her sister.
James W and Mary Price had only one child a daughter Amelia, my Grandmother who married Sam Hubbard.
This may have Mistake at is written from memory as told to me many years ago by my mother and was told to her by her mother.

Some more history as told to me many years ago:
Grandpa Hubbard went to Macon, Georgia to live and run a store with his brother in law Aunt Lucy Husband H. Cheadle. He went when Gracie (my mother) was a tiny baby. Grandma followed when Gracie was six months old. She came back to Virginia 3 months before the birth of her 3 child Lillian. When Lillian was 3 months old she returned to Georgia.
Three years later Great Grandma Mary Price wrote to her and told her she was her only living child and that she did not have much longer to live and to come home. Grandma came back to Virginia, her mother Great Grandma Mary only lived a few weeks, she had cancer. Grandpa sold his interest in the store came back and opened a store in Prospect. I don't know how long he kept it. Great Grandpa James stills was living and they all lived on the old home place farm.
Great Grandpa James went to the Spring to get a bucket of water one morning when he didn't come back Grandma went to look for him and found him dead, he had brought the bucket of water up the hill, set it down and dropped dead with a heart attack.
They lived on the farm and Grandpa(Sam Hubbard) farmed until Grandma(Amelia) death in 1930.
