GLOSTER -- Geneva Mary Whittington Partridge, 82, died July 24, 1991, at her home in Gloster.
Services were at 3 p.m. today at New Hope Methodist Church of Amite County. The Rev. James Dawson officiated. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home of Gloster was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Partridge was born Dec. 14, 1908, in Amite County. She was the daughter of George Marvin Whittington and Sylvia Jane Forman Whittington.
She was a retired teacher and taught in the Gloster school system. She also was a Methodist.
Mrs. Partridge also was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Partridge; and a grandson, Joey Partridge.
She is survived by one daughter, Charlene Partridge of Gloster; two stepdaughters, Mary Davis Bateman of Ferriday, La., and Velma Partridge of Oxnard, Calif.; two grandchildren, Pamela Larimore and Dexter Donavan Partridge; and one great-granddaughter, Brandy Lee Partridge.
