Mary Jane Blagg Ashmore of Greenville died Saturday in Citizens General Hospital in Greenville.
Service was at 4 pm Sunday in Tapp Funeral Chapel in Sulphur Springs with the Rev. Henry Grubbs officiating. Burial was in Restland Memorial Park in Sulphur Springs.
She was born May 26, 1912, the daughter of Bart Blagg and Stella Gregory Blagg, in Denton. She married Raymon Ashmore, September 28, 1928. He died May 25, 1986.
She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Greenville.
Survivors include a son, Ed Ashmore of Brashear; a daughter Priscilla Ashmore of Greenville; three sisters, Eunice Sparks of Pilot Point, Clara Norris and Alice Pockrus both of Denton; two sisters-in-law, Evie and Geneva Blagg of Denton; two grandsons and two great grandsons.
Nephews and friends served as pallbearers.
