Loving mother and wife. Jennie was the youngest of four daughters of Matteo and Giuseppina DiFine. Her parents and her three older sisters immigrated from Italy in the early 1900s. She received her BS degree from Temple University and, following WWII, crafted a career in cancer research.

Jennie married Dr. Etienne Lasfargues in 1950 and raised two children, John and Michele. The family moved to Moorestown in 1965 and resided at 706 Camden Avenue. She retired from the Institute for Medical Research in Camden, NJ in 1981.

Jennie was an active member of Moorestown's Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and volunteered her services at the Moorestown Public Library. She worked tirelessly helping to raise funds for the Corriell Institute for Medical Reseach through the Institute's Auxiliary fundraising group.

Jennie succumbed to cancer in 1992 after a long battle, but knew the joy of four grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is missed by all who knew her.
