Etta Mae Jackson Lovell, died at the age of 91 Sunday, June 12, 2005 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was a homemaker,a spry gentle soul that loved to garden,go fishing, keep up with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always made sure everyone got a small gift for Christmas. She was the perfect picture of what a loving active mother and grandmother should be. She was the daughter of Robert M. Jackson and her beloved mother that lived to 98 years, Mrs. Betty Pearl Brazell Jackson of the Lonoke community. She lived her last twenty five years in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was a loyal member of Harmony Grove Missionary Baptist Church on Warren Road in Pine Bluff. She was preceeded in death by her late husband, James Henry Lovell. They resided in Kedron, Arkansas for years during their marriage. Jim Lovell married his first wife, Ethel Knight in 1912, having nine children by her and also nine children with his second wife, Etta Mae Lovell in whom he married in 1933. They together had twelve surviving children from both marriages of James Lovell. Here is those twelve childrens names: Bertha Williams, D.R.Lovell, Claudie Lovell, Clarence Lovell, Joyce Lovell Frye, Dale Lovell, Jimmy Lovell, R.D. Lovell, L.D. Lovell, Ellen Lovell Lunsford, Carolyn Lovell Lea, Dorothy Lovell Isham, and many grand-children, great-grandchildren and a vast network of friends and loved ones. Her beloved preacher, Nathan Petty officiated the packed house at the Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home. Her nephew, Robbie Jackson also assisted in the going home service. She is still sorely missed and those that remain are looking forward to the day for the Heavenly reunion up around the tree of life. +
