Cecil (1 July 1770 - Feb 1771, died at 7 months) was the daughter of Gen. Mordecai Gist (22 Feb 1742 - 2 Aug 1792) and his first wife, Cecil (Carnan) Gist (died 1 July 1770, at age 28). Cecil is buried with her mother, who died giving birth to her.
