Retired Omaha, NE. Fire Captain. Served 2-4-1955/11-16-1983.
Preceded in death by wife Betty; brothers William F. Betterman and Charles "Skip" Stephenson; sister Mary O'Connell. Survived by son, Robert Jr.; 2 daughters Kathleen Lucas-Gilmore (Jerry) and Fran Betterman; 2 grandsons Matthew and Gavin Kelly; 3 great-grandchildren; brother John B. "Bernie" Betterman (Arlene).
VISITATION begins Thursday, 5pm West Center Chapel with Wake to follow at 7pm. SERVICES Friday 10am St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary with military honors by OFD and Army National Guard.
