and later confirmed at the Newfolden Covenant Church, Newfolden, Minnesota.
Thelma attended school in Strandquist, Minnesota.
Thelma met her first husband, Walter Gustafson, while working as a housekeeper
for his parents. They were married at Warren, Minnesota, in the 1930s and lived
on a farm north of Hanley Falls. They were the parents of two sons: David and
Robert. Walter passed away in January of 1951.
She married Kenneth Wilson in 1959 and together they farmed until he passed away
in 1976. In 1998 she moved to Granite Falls, Minnesota.
Thelma passed away on Friday, June 27, 2008, at the Granite Manor, Granite
Falls, Minnesota, at the age of 97 years.
She is survived by her sons: David (and Kristine) Gustafson, and Robert
Gustafson. She is also survived by grandchildren: Jill (David) Blom, Joel
Gustafson and Beth Gustafson; great grandson Desmond Jr.; and brother Daniel
Renstrom.
