Ella Bousfield (Elly), 96 year old Vinita resident, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2002, at Rosewood Terrance Nursing Center.
She was born February 21, 1906, in Missouri, to John and Lillie (Ellings) Page. She was a homemaker. She was united in Marriage to James Bousfield in 1932 in Girard, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1967.
Ella moved to Vinita area in 1972 from Arma, Kansas.
Survivors include: one daughter JoAnn Rhodes, and husband Vern of Vinita; one grandson, Mike Rhodes and wife Vicki of Tulsa, one grandaughter Carrie Adams and husband Tim of Kentucky, one brother James Page and wife Wilma of Madison, Kansas, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, James Robert Bousfield; one grandson David Rhodes, five sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at the Burckhalter Memorial Chapel and interment was at Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry, Kansas.
