She was a homemaker and a 1951 graduate of Eastern HighSchool. She was a member of the Anitoch Christian Church and enjoyed crafts, shopping and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Arthur, Swayzee, two sons, Richard A. Arthur and wife Linda, Swayzee, and Michael J. Arthur, Sycamore and one daughter Lori J., Greentown; one sister Dorothy Munemi and her hustand, Chet, Kokomo; three grandchildren, Linday Hulet and her husband Rayan, Bradley Arthur and his wife Brooke, and Lacey Arthur, and severeal nieces and nephews. Preceeding her in death were her parents, two sisters, Dorsey Cooper and Aldean Wooley.
Services are 2 Monday at Hasler Pickett Funeral Home, Greentown. Pastor Lowell Nicholson will officiate. Burial will be in Converse Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greentown Seeing Eye Dog Book.
