A. M. Zechman, 55, Mifflinburg
A. Maine Zechman, 55, of Mifflinburg R.D. 1, died Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at his home. He has been in failing health for some time.
Mr. Zechman was born November 18, 1903. He was the son of the late Fred and Amanda Sanders Zechman. He farmed in the Mifflinburg R.D. 1 area the past six years. He attended the Glen Iron Pilgrim Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Vonada Zechman; two sons, Raymond Zechman, of Mifflinburg RD2; and Dale Zechman, of Mifflinburg; 3 daughters, Mrs. Faylene Rothermel, of Mifflinburg R.D. 2; Mrs. Phyllis Lepley, of Mifflinburg R.D. 1; Miss Dorothy Zechman at home; four brothers, John Zechman of Middleburg R.D. 1; Murray Zechman, of Middleburg R. D.; Irvin Zechman of Beaver Springs, and Orren Zechman of Selinsgrove; and two sisters, Mrs. Mazie Goss of Beavertown and Mrs. Lottie Aurand of Middleburg R.D. and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, Middleburg, R.D. Rev. Marlin Hain of Glen Iron, will officiate assisted by Rev. Joseph Hoffman of Millmont. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held Tuesday evening at the late home at Mifflinburg R. D. 1. His body will also lie in state Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the church. Aurand's funeral home, Beavertown, has charge of the funeral arrangements.
