Ada Mae Carmon of Ky 70, Liberty died Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was 70. Born in Casey County on Feb. 1, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Mildred Wethington. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Otha Carmon; a brother, Herman Wethington of Frankfort; a sister, Jane Noel of Liberty; six nieces, Pam Green, Sheila Bell, Millie Mitchell, Alma Castle, Barbara Noel, and Dawn Wethington; and two nephews, Tim and Jasper Wethington. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Preston, Dallon and Donnie Wethington; two sisters, Josephine Shivley and Gertie Atwood; and two nephews, Tommy Shivley and William Ray Noel.

Funeral services were June 9 at the St. Bernard Catholic Church by the Rev. Patrick Dolen. Burial was in the St. Bernard Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tim Wethington, Robert Noel, Stan Green Jr., Charlie Conway, and Mike and Mark Carmon. McKinney-Brown Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
