Barbara L. Lightle, age 76, of Richmond, died Saturday morning (Sept. 16,2006) at the home of her daughter.

She was born in Winchester, In., on Sept. 5, 1930 to Forest and Ethel (Kiser or Kizer) Helms and had lived in Richmond for the past 40 years.

She had worked as a legal secretary and as a nurse. She had been employed as a caseworker for the Wayne County Department of Family and Children.

Survivors include her daughters, Ann Wise of Lewisville, Ind., Julie Sanders Arnott of Richmond; sons, Gary Sanders of Phoenix, Ariz., Greg Sanders of Portland, Ore.; brothers Max Helms of Winchester, David Helms of Hamilton Co., O., and Mike Helms; sister, Carolyn Gard of Union City, In.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.

A sister, Georgianna Helms passed away Apr. 14, 1996.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 19, 2006) in Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester. There will be no public calling.
