Dr. William T. Milliken of Portland, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Salem many years ago, died Wednesday in a Portland hostpital at the age of 92.
Milliken was the founder and past-president of the Western Baptist Theological Seminary of Portland. He was born in Canada and lived in Minnesota before coming to Oregon.
Survivors include two sons, Frank of West Linn and Wesley of Willamette, a daughter, Mrs. Pansy Turner of Salem, 10 grandchildren, including Rev. David Turner of Silverton and Mrs. Emily Dunn of Salem, 18 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Hinson Memorial Baptist Church in Portland with burial at Lincoln Memorial Mausoleum.
