Mrs. Paro was born in Alexandria Bay, NY on September 17, 1905, a daughter of Alexander and Ella Deschamps Queal. She was graduated from Alexandria Bay High School and married Roy S. Paro on July 28, 1933 at the Church of the Holy Family, Watertown, NY. Mr. Paro died August 16, 1948 at the age of 41.
Mrs. Paro was a central supply technician at Mercy Hospital for many years, retiring in 1973. She was survived by a son, Thomas D. Paro of Davis, CA, a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Patricia A.) Lewis, Watertown, five grandchildren, two brothers, Charles Queal, Illinois and Wesley Queal, Rome, NY; a sister, Mrs. Rose Barden, Ithaca, nieces, nephews and cousins. A brother, Harry Queal, died November 30, 1983. A Mass of the Resurrection was said at Cummings Funeral Home with Msgr. Robert J. McCarthy, pastor of the Church of the Holy Family, officiating. Burial was in St. Cyril's Cemetary, Alexandria Bay.
