Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow from St. Mark's Episcopal Church, of which the deceased was a consecrated member, with the Rev. T. W. Tayloe officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill East Cemetery.
Mrs. Burt, member of a prominent Alabama family, was born at Talladega, the daughter of Judge and Mrs. G. K. Miller. She was educated at Peace Institute, a Presbyterian college at Raleigh, N.C., and was married to Mr. Burt at Talladega in 1908.
In delicate health for the past 23 years, Mrs. Burt had spent three years at Santa Monica, California, immediately prior to the removal of the family to Palatka 10 years ago, where they have since made their home.
She is survived by her husband, James Creth Burt, Jr., by one daughter, Nellie Hall Burt; a son, Miller Burt; by two sisters, Mrs. S. E. Green, of Birmingham, wife of a well known Alabama jurist, and Mrs. T. L. Welch, of Talladega; one brother, H. K. Miller, Monticello, Fla., and by several; nieces and nephews. Another son, James Creth Burt, Jr., was drowned in the St. James river here several years ago.
