On Sept. 23, 1945, he was married to Iona Miller, who survives. Also surviving are 5 children (Julia, Althia, C. C., Jr., Renate, and Jacob), one sister (Mrs. Pauline Oswald), and 2 brothers (Walter and Allen). Funeral services were held at the Chicago Avenue Church, Aug. 6, in charge of Mahlon L. Blosser and Harold G. Eshleman; interment in Weavers Church Cemetery.
