BOONEVILLE - Nell Rose Vaughn Davis, 68, died Sunday, February 18, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville after a long illness. She was a homemaker and a member of West Booneville Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Ward Hogland officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Foice Davis; two daughters, Sherry Phelps and her husband, David, of Yucaipa, Calif., and Susan Davis of Booneville; two sons, David Davis and his wife, Darinka, and Mark Davis and his wife, Lisa, all of El Centro, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Eva Vaughn of Booneville; 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lola Merriman Vaughn; two brothers, Harold Vaughn and Travis Vaughn.
Her nephews and cousins will be pallbearers. Visitation will continue until 9 p.m. today and until service time Wednesday.
