— LEWISBURG — Anna R. Bridge, 81, of 24 N. 15th St., died, Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at her residence.

Born May 12, 1929, in Jackson Township, Snyder County, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Leah R. (Strassner) Leitzel. On May 12, 1949, she married Harold "Teanie" K. Bridge. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1982, after 33 years of marriage.

Anna was a 1948 graduate of Lewisburg High School. She worked at the former Rea & Derick Drug Store in Lewisburg for over 18 years and later at the Lewisburg Hotel.

She loved solving crossword puzzles in her spare time.

Surviving are one brother, William Doyle; three sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, William "Bill" F. Bridge; two brothers, Freeman Bright Blair, who was killed at Guadalcanal during World War II and Marvin Eugene Leitzel.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Lewisburg Cemetery. Officiating will be retired United Methodist minister, Rev. John J. Dramazos.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath- Grenoble Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
