Lenlie Audrey Abney, 76, of Irvine, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at St Joseph Hospital East after a short illness. He was born Sept. 26, 1934, Estill County and was the son of the late Everett and Myrtle Rogers Abney. He was a retired Bluegrass Army Depot employee and had lived in Estill County all of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Ann Dustin Abney; and a grandson, Bradley Everett Abney.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia ann Kershow and Teresa Lynn Nealy both of Estill County; a son, Daniel Abney of Estill County; two sisters Jewell Robins-Burguss of Nicholasville, Belva Bennett of Estill County; three brothers, Arthur Abney, Donald Abney and James Abney of Estill County; five grandchildren and five great-grand children.

Funeral services at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Gainus Rogers. Burial at Cobb Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Abney, Roy Nealy, Shawn Rogers, Rebecca Rogers, Mark Patrick and Eric Patrick.
