FROSTBURG - Kevin Michael High, 27, of Turk Lane, Frostburg, passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at Hartmansville, W.Va.
Born Nov. 17, 1982, in Cumberland, he was the son of Kimberly (High) Sullivan, of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Kevin was a 2000 graduate of the Allegany County Career Center. He was employed at Ravens Craft of Frostburg as a cabinet installer. He loved to hunt, fish and was an avid Nascar fan and attended several Nascar races.
In addition to his mother, Kimberly, he leaves behind his wife, Kelli (Kooken) High; three children, Kylie A. High, Kamden M. High and Kelson M. High, all of Frostburg; a brother, Kameron M. Sullivan, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and a sister, Katie Marie Sullivan, of Chattanooga, Tenn. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents who helped to raise him, George and Susan Beeman, of Swanton; his aunts and uncles, Lori and Jeff Morris, Robert High and Barbara Montgomery; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kurt and Lori Kooken, of Swanton; a brother-in-law, Donnie Kooken; a special friend, Mark "Uncle Bucky" Redinger and numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Rick High officiating.
Interment will be in Bloomington Cemetery, Bloomington.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to a memorial fund for the care of his children, C/O Wepco Federal Credit Union, 204 N. Branch Ave., Bloomington, MD 21523.
