Frances Ellen Lewis was born in Pompey,Onondaga County,NY the daughter of ,Thomas Dennison Lewis born 1817 and Minerva Sloan born 1818.She married William Harley Sanderson on Feb 26,1867 at the first Presbyterian Church of Jordans,New York at the age of 26.Just six days short of her first wedding aniversary Fannie developed Pneumonia and dies Feb 20,1868.The posted picture of Fannie was taken in 1867 and part her and her husbands family bible.

Fannie Sanderson is buried next to her husband in the Sanderson family plot at Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandon,Vt,she shares one side of the Sanderson Family Monument with her Husband and her Husbands second wife, Elizabeth Augusta Howe.
