Albert J. Soares, resident of Los Banos. 07/07/1924 - 05/30/2010. A devout Catholic entered into rest on Sunday May 30, 2010 the day of the Holy Trinity. He is survived by his wife Rosa Soares, their five children, seven grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. Albert was very active within the Portuguese community, and among his fellow dairymen. A visitation will be held at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel in Los Banos on Sunday, June 6, 2010, 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m.; the rosary will be recited at 7:00. On Monday, June 7, 2010, there will be a visitation beginning at 10:00 am at the at Five Wounds Portuguese National Church in San Jose, and mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapels Los Banos.
