Victor Bird is the brother of H(enry) Mell (usually short for Melvin) Bird. Victor never married. He lived with his brother Mell Bird because he (Victor) was blind. Mell was married to Pearle Brewer. Both Victor and Mell were sons of William Arnold Byrd and Louisa Jane Rinehart (my great-great-grandparents).
