She was born July 28, 1914 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Edward Orth and Lucy Alexander Orth.
She and her husband co-managed the former Endicott Johnson Shoestore in Butler, Penn., for over 40 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Butler, Penn.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Laura Van Dyke of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one grandson, Erik Van Dyle of London, England; one son-in-law, William Van Dyke of Florida; two sisters, Dody Huffman of Portsmouth and Phyllis Sparks and her husband Jack of Wheelersburg; one brother, Tom Orth and his wife, Faye, of Portsmouth; and several loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Otto McCall on September 11, 1994, and they married August 8, 1932. She is also preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Van Dyke; one sister, Melba Clapham; and two brothers, James Orth and Burl Orth.
Private memorial services will be at a later date with interment in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg.
