A retired carpenter, Mr. Gilmore had been a patient in the hospital 10 days. He had been in failing health for several weeks.
Mr. Gilmore was born November 7, 1874, in Texas County, Missouri. He had lived in Joplin for a number of years.
His only survivors are a cousin, Oscar Gilmore, 923 West Third Street; a nephew, Frank Romines of Houston, Mo., and two nieces, Mrs. Martha Purcell of Houston and Mrs. Louise West of Ponca City, Okla.

Caswell Congo Gilmore, was a brother to William F Gilmore. According to family history, he was never married and had no children. He was also survived by several neices and nephews, who lived in Arkansas.
