Elizabeth Jane Slater, age 90, of Oak Hill, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born May 30, 1920 to the late George E. and Emma (Morgan) Crabtree and was united in marriage to John Wesley Slater on June 11, 1940 who preceded her in death; she was also preceded in death by son-in-law John Dickens.

She is survived by one son, John R. (Terri) Slater, three daughters, Dianne (Russell) Bush, Vernita Dickens, and Eleanor (Roger) Evans. She is also survived by one brother, Charles (Elaine) Crabtree, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
