Married Clem H Stroot on November 22, 1921 at St Francis Church(39th & Harrison) by Father Keyes in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. Their marriage lasted 58 years until Matilda's passing.

Mother of Verona Stroot, Harold Stroot, and Dr Jerome H Stroot.

Sister of Agnes Meisman Ashbaker, Leona Meisman, Hilda Meisman Keane, Reinhard Meisman, Gus Meisman, Henry Meisman and Al Meisman.

She had ten grandchildren(9 surviving as of this posting) and has numerous great-grand children.

Matilda was a devout Catholic and member of St Francis Church, the Catholic Daughters of America and the Society of St Francis.

A wonderful mother and grandmother, much loved and missed; including her wholesome home cooking, especially her jams, jellies and coffee cake.
