Born Dec. 9, 1913 in St. Joseph, Ill., he was a resident of Escondido for 47 years. He retired as a MGST after 25 years of service in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed traveling, visiting the Wild Animal Park, fishing and reading. He played trombone in the Air Force Band.
Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his wife Oma Morris in 1998. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service at 10 a.m. May 17, 2006, at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary. The Rev. Richard Huls will officiate. Private burial will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside.
